Thiruthangal Nadar College (TNC) is committed to fostering a culture of research excellence and innovation, contributing to the intellectual growth of its academic community. Objectives


  • Strengthening Institutional Capacity: This policy applies to all research activities undertaken by faculty, staff, and students at Thiruthangal Nadar College, including collaborative research with external institutions, industries, and organizations. It covers the entire research process, from proposal submission to dissemination of results.
  • Research Governance: The research activities at TNC will be governed by the Research Committee, which will oversee the approval, funding, and ethical compliance of research projects. The committee will ensure that research is aligned with the institution’s mission and values.
  • Ethical Standards: All research must adhere to ethical guidelines to protect participants, data integrity, and research integrity. Our institution will ensure that all researchers are trained in research ethics.
  • Funding and Support: Our Institution provides both internal and external funding opportunities for research projects. Faculty and students will be encouraged to apply for research grants, scholarships, and fellowships.
  • Collaboration and Interdisciplinary Research: Collaboration within and outside the College will be strongly encouraged to enhance the interdisciplinary nature of research.
